What better to do on my birthday but to do something that will add the happy: eating. There was "nothing spectacular" for my birthday this year, only the usual: eat then movies, while eating- again. It's really our comfort activity; doesn't take much effort, and is fun in its own right.
I did not really used to capture the food we eat, but I guess from now on I will, so that I can look back on how much I've eaten, and to share as well (the pictures, that is, haha).
Destination: Yakimix Trinoma
Price: P595 (I think. Not sure actually, but it won't be far from there.)
I used to doubt the number of dishes they have as compared to Macapagal, but it turns out it's almost the same, and it's less cramped. Though bad timing would have it, there wasn't tuna sashimi, but the salmon was heavenly nonetheless, and was more than enough.
Note: picture was taken as a duplicate.
Spinach stew: I was skeptical at first and was afraid to do a Popeye and pop something else, but it tasted like the usual Nido Soup, and looked like it. Works for me :) |
Took a little of some, just to try them out. Nothing tasted weird. They were quite heavy though, so eat them at the latter part of your stay, than chowing them first. |
One happy customer! Lotsa sushi! |
The cuttlefish has always been a must cook for me; twas really tasty and easy to eat (compared to tia pusit) |
And more sushi :) |
The heavenly salmon sashimi! I can never get tired of this one. (and the tuna too!) |
Yeah, we like our food Japanese ;P |
Vanilla Ice Cream!! Me favorite! The sprinkes are amazing too ;) |
Mango Ice Cream for Angelo. Dragon fruit tasted really nice! Not too sweet for anything, sort of like watermelon and cucumber combined, with lotsa eatable seeds. |
Ah, dear food :D
