Human Nature Overnight Elixir

What made me decide to buy the Overnight Elixir is its supposed pimple scar healing properties from sunflower oil and rosehip oil. As someone occasionally bombarded by breakouts when under stress or due to ineffective cleansers, the "battle scars" can be pretty frustrating, as they can linger on for quite a while.

The product description
One concern I had, though, was my skin's reaction to putting oil during the night, as applying HHN's sunflower oil caused breakouts. But then again I just took the risk. Some "effects" as I read reviews in the HHN site (http://humannature.com.ph/) included moisturizing, dark spots lightening, and softer and suppler feel of the skin.

How to use

Ingredients

I did not do the massage as instructed, but I guess it worked just the same hihi :P

What it's made of :)

The pipet is very convenient to use! You have to be careful of it though since it looks a little brittle.

Pros:

It really did lighten pimple scars. You have to patient, though, because it's not an overnight process. Also, I noticed that the "crater marks" appeared more shallow and almost unnoticeable over the span I have used this product. I am not using any other whitening cream since I started this, so I can say it's done its part in healing my facial skin.

It did not cause breakouts. Much to my surprise (and delight!), yeah, it really did not trigger zits. Also for several instances I have observed that a budding zit did not push through despite applying this oil (elixir, as HHN calls it) at night. Note that others may not have the same reaction to this product.

One bottle lasts for several months. Since it's a little pricey (Php995 i think), it can be a little intimidating and high-maintenance. But you only need approximately four small drops which can cover your whole face (adjust depending on your preference), the 30ml bottle will go a long way. I haven't consumed mine since buying during the last week of June. It's been almost four months and I still have almost half to spare.

It's light in the morning. No overly greasy feel in the morning, but also not that dry. I do have super oily skin so I don't know how it fares for those with dry skin.

Cons:

It smells balmy. The smell really isn't a deal breaker, and I think it's somewhat reassuring that no fragrance was put in. Also, the scent is very light and very much bearable.

It has no smaller size. The price is understandably to hefty for the first try, since the skin's actual response to the product is not yet known. But certainly, lucky you if your skin is ok with this.

Verdict:

I would definitely buy again given the effects are consistent over a long period of time. But, so far so good. :)
